If there is one area I considered myself a purist, it is as an oil painter. Often my canvases will take months to complete. Working in the style of magic realism, I work in building up the paint in thin layers of glazes. My new mixt media gallery takes my canvas images and combines them with digital enhancement to create a whole new series based on the painting. It can often undergo yet another metamorphosis to be printed and then reimagined and re-painted. The end result is a blended new original painting unlike printing, there will be only one of its kind.
